What a bookable portfolio has that a gallery does not

A gallery answers one question: what does your work look like. A bookable portfolio answers the four a producer asks immediately afterwards. Are you verifiably an adult, what will you and will you not do, what do you charge for which usage, and when are you free. Answer those on the page and the enquiry you get is a booking request rather than an opening message.

That is also what protects you. Boundaries published in advance are boundaries you are not negotiating in a direct message with someone who has already offered you money.

The verified badge, and what it is not

Your profile does not publish until government photo ID has been checked against a liveness capture. What appears afterwards is a badge and a date. Your document is never displayed and is never sent to a booker: they see that the check passed, not what it contained. The verification page sets out the whole sequence and what is retained.

The badge does most of the work in the first thirty seconds of a producer looking at your page, because it answers the question they are legally obliged to care about before they have to ask it.

A rate card you do not have to defend line by line

Publishing rates is uncomfortable until you publish them as a structure rather than a number. A base day rate, a multiplier for usage, a multiplier for exclusivity: the same arithmetic every commercial photographer already uses. Verification documents are never shown on a profile and are never shared with a booker. A booker sees that the check passed and when, and nothing else. Your data stays yours: you can request deletion of your account and the associated records at any time, subject to the retention we describe in the record-keeping statement and the privacy policy.

No. Adult work is the category this platform exists for. What does get an account removed is the same short list you would expect anywhere: anyone who is not verifiably 18 or over, anyone posting someone else's images, and anything outside what the terms permit. No card is required to create an account. You give one email address, confirm it with a six digit code, and that is the signup.
